CHECK THIS OUT "This leather soccer ball (which dates to at least 1540 and possibly as far back as 1490) was constructed from pieces of thick cow leather, stretched and tightly laced over a pig’s bladder. It was discovered behind paneling in the Queen’s chamber in Scotland’s Stirling Castle and is believed to have belonged to Mary (Quof Scots) as a young child."
